Very cute! Fortunately when you actually use OS X as your main OS, it does all this in the background and doesn't bother you except for one final step which is "Hey there! I went ahead and downloaded all these updates I knew you'd want while you weren't around. Would you like me to make them active now?"

OS X is actually really nice and friendly with you, considering you drug it and lock it in a coffin for months at a time. Just try that with Skynet.
