Fortunately for me, the preschool manager was too engrossed in her credit card statement to notice that I was wet walking out the door. And that my closing paperwork was also wet. Now the events of 6:15-6:30 this afternoon can die with me ( Read more... )

Embarrassment, mostly, for I did a dumb thing. I thought I'd save time the other night in closing because I was already running behind, so I left the hot water running in the sink to sanitize the toys that had been mouthed while I ran out to grab supplies. It took me longer than I planned and the sink overflowed. I came back into the room to find counter and part of the floor underwater.

It was dumb.
