I don't remember History 101 being this dumb. In fact, I didn't know there was this much dumb in my whole school, let alone that they would all be in one class.
Yeah, some of the history classes I took were a little like that, too. But they didn't hold a candle to the Comm Arts classes I took or the composition part of the English class I had to take. How people make it out of high school, let along get into college, without learning this stuff is beyond me.
*giggle* Thank you for suffering through that -- other than your suffering, it brought me giggles. England. *giggle!* and yes, yes of course, it was dark because they were on the dark side of religion. Like the dark side of the force, except, there's one problem... People might still be in the dark ages now if that's why... See? http://synth.at.tut.by/pope-benedict-palpatine.jpg
Well, History 102 doesn't have any prereqs, my question is more how they got into college in the first place. My advisor did warn me that she thought some people took this class as an easy way to satisfy the humanities requirement, and even that some people dropped her classes to take his, because they thought it would be easier. But I still felt I should take the class for my Medieval and Early Modern Studies major, and I did not expect that it would go to quite this level of stupidity. I really wish I could have taken this class one-on-one.
