My grandfather got into a car accident. He's fine, but he's pretty sure his truck will be considered totaled. The thing is, he's 83 years old and he shouldn't be driving in the city. But he's too stubborn to ask for help, and talking to and old coonass man is like talking to a brick wall. He just won't listen. I worry so much about him.

Ouch. Hope your grandfather is ok. I also hopes this teaches him a lesson and he stops driving. It'd be awful for you to lose him to something so avoidable.

My point exactly. He's just so hard-headed, it's hard to get him to cooperate with anything. Especially taking away his car. He loves to drive.

It just hurts a little to see him trying not to accept defeat. He's always been so strong. He's our family's anchor. Literally, he's got an anchor tattooed on his arm!
