I think it's dead, Jim.

Man, where'd the internet go? I feel like an old relic.

I'm posting this from a phone, though. I guess that's worth something.

Probably is. LJ is not exactly a thriving community anymore. Everyone (including my mom and sister) is on Facebook now. Like you, I say fuck that. Up until she killed it, my sister always had viruses on her netbook from Facebook. I'm on Twitter, but don't post a ton. It's mostly my way of keeping up with various things in the world.

You didn't get the message? We're on the Internet 2.0 now. With the youbooks and the facespaces and the tweets and the honks and the whatnot. Carnflab it, back in my day, you had to dial in to reach the first internet. It wasn't even capitalized! And our computer boxes would screech at us every time we logged in, like they were warning us what we were doing. But did we listen? Nosiree-Bob. We logged in and we went to our Geocities pages and updated those and we liked it. None of this vlogging, blogging, slogging, or whatever kids call it now. We had to write the html ourselves.

Point is, I'm still around places. Hi. :3
