Cool comment on that last cap. (Well, all the comments are cool but that really caught my attention.) It's never a good thing when Dean actually gets pie. It throws off the balance of the universe or something.
And Ezekiel did heal up Cas (from the dead) quite quickly and although it drained him, that was some major organ damage fixed quick. You see where I’m going? How healed is Sam by now? I bet that when Dean signed on to this healing from within plan he wasn’t thinking months of it. So is Zeke just hiding out in Sam? Are the Enochian carvings on Sam’s ribs still there? Would that hide Zeke too?
Exactly my thoughts as well.
Dean should at least be highly suspicious by now of why Sam isn't healed enough to survive on his own yet. Ezekiel obviously needs to stay hidden from the other angels- the question is why. I'm also fairly sure inhabiting Sam specifically was part of the plan and it's extremely beneficial for Ezekiel.
I keep wanting to rewatch the three episodes to see where the angels are at. I really don't like the new faction, they seem to have the weakest agenda, but it was written by that writing team. I like that it is common to be suspicious of Zeke.
The thing about Dean being clueless about Clarence was ridiculous. I've never seen that movie, and I still know the reference. I mean, give the audience some credit, huh?
Ezekiel being able to heal Castiel so easily was pretty sketchy. Makes me wonder why it's taking so long to deal with Sam's injuries. And how would Dean have any way of truly knowing whether Sam was healed or not? He's only able to go on Ezekiel's word, so Zeke could continue manipulating Dean for a long, long time. I'd still like to believe Zeke is good, but they're definitely dropping some hints that maybe he isn't on the up and up.
I'm with you, I didn't care too much for the casting of Bartholomew - or his characterization. Once again, we get an evil angel out to rule the world, without any concern for others. I am growing weary of this portrayal of angels. We need something different
