I like Supernatural, but I've found a new love.

I haven’t really commented on the Supernatural Season finale.  I was okay with it.  I don’t have strong feelings either way with Dean becoming a demon.  I just worry that that writers will throw away the potential to make it a great story.  Dean should now be a knight of hell.  He should be stronger than Crowley.  But let’s face it, the writers ( Read more... )

I adore the movie as well (went to see it three times and am planning a fourth, lol). Not only was it a moving story- but everything about it was superb- the pacing was flawless, the casting was spot-on and I cared about all the main characters, which is rare for an ensemble that size- especially in cases where some characters are brand new to me.

The differences and similarities between the Winter Soldier comics and the movie are fascinating. I do think the movie handled the return of Bucky's memories in a much more potent fashion. I've discovered Marvel Unlimited which is AWESOME. You have access to nearly the full Marvel library(I think it's everything released more than 6 months ago- going all the way back to 1938) and can store 12 comics at a time for offline reading! Needless to say I've whipped through the full run of Winter Soldier comics band am currently working my way through all the Black Widow comics as well. The Natasha & Bucky backstory and future relationship is particularly interesting to me, and I love that the ( ... )

I must check out that link!!! I know there is this entire "Winter Soldier" comic run that's pretty recent. I'm not sure how it fits in the timeline.

Black Widow needs her own movie that has Winter Soldier in the supporting role. I also adore Sebastian Stan and want to see more of him!!!

BTW... saw the movie 4 times in the theatre. I've never done that before!

Ooh it's great you've found a new love :D . Good for you :) There is nothing like finding a new passion to jump into.

It took me a while to properly move on from SN after dropping it last November but I think I'm finally getting there as long as I never allow myself to think too deeply about how disappointing Carver!Natural was for me.

I haven't found that next big love yet, but right now I'm content to watch TV in a casual way with only the rare meta like the Captain Swan meta I posted last week until that next big thing for me does come along :)

Sebastian Stan is the reason I've watched some of Once Upon...I just finished season one and have the summer to catch up. I haven't dropped SPN, but I find it impossible to meta think it anymore because there often is no connections to be made. Sad truth.

It sounds like I'm on the same trajectory you are -- jumping from SPN to Marvel. I'm still sticking with SPN, but I pretty much forget about it as soon as the episode is over.

I am so in love with Steve Rogers it isn't even funny. I'm still not over TWS, and I can't wait until it comes out on DVD so I can watch it repeatedly.

Natasha desperately needs her own movie. And how badass was Sam Wilson?! I wish they would put him in Avengers 2.
