Awwww! &hearts&hearts&hearts I'm filled with all sorts of fuzzies and fluffiness right now. *sigh& That was great! Oh the beginning was sad with Gillian hiding from Cal, but I felt like it might be something she would do, to get a hold of herself so as not to break down. I love that he found her sleeping and then when she woke he was the one sleeping. OMG Emily! &hearts&hearts&hearts She's such a matchmaker and the ending was perfect! You just are amazing! :D

Wow, thank you. ♥ What a lovely comment! I'm glad you thought it in character, and that it gave you fuzzies! Emily is such a Callian shipper, she really is. I just took it a little further than the show has so far! ♥

Thanks again! :D

I love your Christmas icon!

He’d been given another chance, he thought as he watched her sleep.

When she woke up, he was going to take that chance.

Oh, goodness, love it. Especially because it's not over the top.

...suddenly he realized that, if he had his way (perhaps he should rethink), he was going to be outnumbered in this house from now on.

Ahahaha, YES.

Love Emily's meddling.

...he suddenly realized that if he kissed her this year, he’d feel for the first time like he was cheating on someone else.

Mmm, such a good perception. He would feel that way, if only because he's realized for himself what he feels for Gillian.

I just got up and this was the first thing i read on my flist. I wish every single one of my days could start like that. Hun, this is so beautiful and sweet and so in character. I could completely see this happening and that's what i loved about it so much. Plus, your attention to detail is amazing. To be quite honest, you are, without a doubt, my favourite Cal/Gillian fic writer out there. This is such a wonderful tag fic to that episode. ♥

Wow, bb. Thank you. I always look forward to your comments but this one is just too kind. I'm really glad you enjoyed this one, and that you felt it to be in character. I work really hard on my fics to make sure that they are because I can't stand OOC writing. Thank you for noticing all the detail, too. I'm glad it worked!

To be quite honest, you are, without a doubt, my favourite Cal/Gillian fic writer out there.
That's incredibly high praise and I can't tell you how touched I am. I absolutely adore writing these two and I'm so glad people enjoy reading what I write. Thank you, bb. ♥♥♥

A very sweet piece and very in-character. My holiday mood is build all over again <3 Big YAY for Em :) And I love how you described almost every sound Gillian heard while she was hiding from Cal. It's hard to put visual explanation to the sound, and you captured the "tearing soul" image so well that I have no words, really...

And so true about distancing - tricky psychological defence activity, it can often serve as protection from anxiety or emotional frustration. Sry, work blab :D

Once again, thank you very much for the lovely read.
Happy Holidays! :)

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm so glad to hear that I got the defence mechanism of distancing right. And thank you for your comments about the sound description, I'm glad that worked, too. :)

Thank you, as always, for reading. I hope you've had a lovely Christmas. :)

AWWW! Cute happy ending ♥
I've already told you that I'm a fan of your fics. And you keep reaffirming that fact. :D
Beautiful Christmas fic, in character, and with your wonderful poetic touch.

"he suddenly realized that if he kissed her this year, he’d feel for the first time like he was cheating on someone else."
This is exactly how I felt when he slept with blondie (Puppy, Poppy, whatever). Great line :)

Oh, and LOL with the whole JDI thing :P

Thank you for this :D

Aww, thank you!! I have a poetic touch? That's nice to hear!

I felt exactly the same way about Poppy which is why I had such massive writer's block after Fold Equity. I was struggling to like Cal for quite a while if I'm completely honest!

Thanks, as always, for leaving me such lovely comments. I'm really glad you enjoyed it. ♥

LOL! Of course you do :) The way you write is always kinda poetic, plus, I love the quotes you drop at the beginning (and sometimes inside the story) :)

YES! Absolutely. Liking Cal was hard for a while.

Aww :) As always, you deserve all the comments you receive, and more! :)
