Butterflies in the aether.

Waves in the black.

Doesn't mean anything. Just electrical impulses.

...she's tired...

You should probably take a rest, then.

Worse when she rests.

Tired of closing her ears. Tired of shutting out thoughts.

There's likely to be some kind of medicine out there, that'd help you rest better. Want me to find you something?

Nothing. She's looked.

...more accurately, Simon looked.

Order Lepidoptera, superfamily Papilionoidea. Winged insects. Cause hurricanes.

River.

... what is a Lepidoptera? What is an insect? What are wings? What is a hurricane?

River? Is that who is tired? I hope she may sleep! Mokubex told me nightmares keep you awake. Is she having nightmares?

Most speciose category of insects. Insect is the informal name of Class Insecta. Wings are often-membranous and thinly-boned appendages used for flight, sometimes involving feathers. A hurricane is a cyclical wind-storm.

Yes. Has nightmares while awake... sadly, they don't drive her to sleep.

No.

Her abilities force information on her.
