There's just so much to love in this, omg. Sherlock truly understanding for a moment what it must be like to talk to him, his inability to cut into John even when he's thought about doing so before, even with John's ok and evidence that it will be fine, and ngh holding his heart in his hands and the kiss (with knocking Johns head over -- love it). And on and onnnnn.

Gotta admit, ever since the previous installment where John makes mention of being able to grow body parts back, I wondered if they could make kinky use of that. Or at least the fact that things will reattach themselves after they've been cut off and ... Made use of *coughcough*. (and oh god so so wrong where my brain has gone thanks to this verse. NEVER STOP BEING AWESOME OK.)

How was that not Fraked up I will never know.
For me the hardest part to read was John asking to have his head cut, and Sherlock refusing...just ouch! But I loved it.

I think that John putting his trust in Sherlock freaks Sherlock right out. That's not something I think happens very often (people trusting Sherlock).

When Sherlock's standing there with the knife and John's waiting for him to sink the cleaver into his throat, he's all nervous and vulnerable and freaked out. And I love it. :)
