The spirit of the theme was anything that falls outside the heteronormative binary male+man/female+woman. I'm sorry if you're offended by the way the theme was titled, but I can't really do anything abut that. Your anonymity, however, makes me suspect that you are just trolling, in which case kindly gtfo tyvm.
Wow, guys, I'm kinda surprised I have to say this here.
Don't be a dick to people on my journal, regardless of if they're anonymous or not. And honestly, it's not like their point's invalid or anything. There's different interpretations of the word "genderfuck" and saying you think a trans man isn't part of the male-female gender binary is definitely something that can offend people. It's akin to calling "X changes sexes because of (plot device here)" genderswap.
This was amazing. I couldn't stop reading, even though I needed to be out the door!
I love how determined Sherlock was to make things right for himself, which is no less than I expected, but still nice to see. I can't imagine how difficult that would be. While there are devastatingly sad parts to the story (his parents' inability to accept their child for who he was) it was very inspiring overall to watch Sherlock get to the place where he was happy with himself.
I was sniffling loudly by the end. This was absolutely fucking gorgeous. (I would love a sequel that brings John into the picture, slash or no, but I'm so thankful to have this that I won't press my luck too much.) You're amazing.
This is so amazing. The way you wrote it is entirely understated and calm, no matter what happens in the storyline, and that makes it all the better. Fantastic fic.

I wanted to also let you know that I've pimped it over at fancake on dreamwidth since the current theme is genderfuck.
