Of course it's me, who else - Then again, I'm on a beach when I was in a hotel room a few minutes ago and this..there's no way that..
Buffy shook her head once, hard and visibly, as if to jar any other thoughts of what was possible and what wasn't from her mind. It was best, she knew from more than one experience, to just..go along with things and find the explanation as they came. Panicking and going on and on about how something wasn't impossible was the fastest way to die.
"Yeah," she said, "yeah, it's me." Her steps broke into a jog and she closed the distance easily between them on the sand, wondering if she had ever been quite so glad to see the other girl in her life. "What happened? What are we doing here?"

"What's the last thing you remember, Buff?" It was easier to figure that out and go from there, even if she already had a pretty good idea of the 'when' Buffy got pulled from.
