graduation

The moment after Graduation was over, after everybody threw their hats, and everybody started leaving...I remember so specifically that I was looking for you first, before anybody else.

I remember running towards you, flower, diploma and hat in hand, and hugging you so tight around your neck, and your arms were around me so tightly I couldn't breathe. I remember you whispering in my ear that "we made it" and how I nearly started bawling right then, because I was so filled with hope and love and friendship and everything and nothing at the same time for you, that I just broke down. I kissed you on the cheek then, and I remember just being glomped into a bearhug between you and Trey...

And I remember that. I miss you. Please call me sometime, if you have time to. I'd love to hear from you.
