That totally makes sense! Matt handed me the package and said it was from her. I did not look at the package and just opened it. I was a bit confused that she would know what to get me. She's usually close with gifts, but not this close!

It's interesting to me. Why doesn't anybody abroad exlpore russian symbolism?

I think the language barrier is the primary reason. It is difficult to learn Russian in the U.S., but most universities and many high schools offer German.
