Apparently the BBC reckons most people will have only read 6 of the 100 books here.
Instructions:
1) Look at the list and put an 'X' after those you have read.
2) Add a '+' to the ones you LOVE.
3) Star “@” those you plan on reading.
4) Tally your total at the bottom.

19. Better than 6, I guess. But there's quite a few on there I plan to read one of these days.

I've read 20, though several of those remaining, I've either started or read the "Great Illustrated Classics" version when I was wee.

It's an interesting list, containing as it does, an odd mix of classics (just about everything by Austen is on there) as well as some of the most significant (for one reason or another) books of the last few decades or so. I'm surprised that the BBC thinks most people have only read 6 -- the British read a whole lot more than we do, so what are they reading?
