I'm loving, adoring and generally enjoying my current course. Unfortunately, this means that assignments go something like this:

1. Read assignment.
2. Go hunt for information relevant to assignment.
3. Notice something else course-related that is really interesting.
4. Go read about that, instead.
5. Go to 3.

yep! When I was in school, on the rare day when I wasn't in class or at work, I'd just sleep the day away.

I suspect my last (er, final, sorry) two courses are going to be very much along those lines. This month's just been a rough one with RCFM, A-Kon, con stuff and (soon) AC. Looking forward to some lazy weekends in July. <3

Actually, it's not so much the procedures and rules at this point as just the concepts. (Though I guess the different reports fall under procedures and will be fun to tweak. *grins*) The big thing for me is that this course focuses on fund allocation, visibility and accountability and basically simplifies something I'd been dancing around accounts to make readily available. Sort of a moment of "Oh, hey, this thing I've been trying to put together already exists in a specific format and isn't all ~that~ different from what I'd been working toward. Just much, much simpler. How cool is that???" :-D

And yes, that clarification from my text still leaves me giggling. *snickers*
