I got into an argument with a girl in my recitation last semester over incest.

"Yeah, incest is bad, because when brothers and sisters have kids they have lots of problems."
"Nay," say I, "Not debating that incest is bad, but problems only appear if there were recessive harmful genes in the first place."
"No! Incest causes the problems! There's no chance incest will make normal kids."
