1. A movie. 2. A book. 3. A musical artist, song, or album. 4. An LJ user (or group) not on my friends list. 5. Something to do in the next two months.
1. Rebel Without a Cause (James Dean, Natalie Wood, Sal Mineo, etc) 2. What the Birds See by Sonya Hartnett 3. Five Leaves Left by Nick Drake (album) 4. I think you and hazel_rah might have something in common, especially politically, but unfortunately he doesn't update his LJ very often... He does have a website he probably links to on his info page. :) 5. Sharpen your coloured pencils (if you have to buy some, buy Derwent brand if you can spare the dosh, not a cheapie set) and draw what you see when you close your eyes. Look beyond the black.
1. "Ryan's Daughter" or Polanski's "Macbeth" 2. Salinger's "The Catcher in the Rye" if you haven't read it. Jung's "Memories, Dreams, Reflections" (autobiography). Maybe Conrad's "Heart of Darkness" 3. Jackson Browne's "Saturate Before Using" (album) 4. Not sure. You're a rare find -- a blend of geek and liberal, solidity and yet capable of the "out there" or at least, empathizing with us weirdo artist types. I would say "Artaud" but you're already friends with him? 5. Get your travel journal ready so we may read it. You're really good at description and I love reading non-fiction. I'm interested!
