I find it interesting to be hearing two sides of a problem. One person has one point of view, while the other person has another. And although I now know both sides, and understand both sides, I'm not close enough to either to be in a position to talk to them about it

The past never goes away. I've been trying to forget mine and it hasn't happened. The only solution is then to come to terms with your past so you may move on to a better future. If when it is brought up to you and it affects you this much then you haven't resolved your past
