Deathly Hallows Silliness

Aug 07, 2007 13:14

So I recently finished reading Deathly Hallows to my kids. We're sitting around the lunch table discussing DH, when I ask what they both liked about the book. My son says he liked how all the bad people tasted horrible when Polyjuiced and all the good people tasted good ( Read more... )

*ponders* Isn't Ralph Fiennes a pasty man of low muscle bulk who doesn't have any hair except for his head? I think that could be problematic. *ponders some more*

Hilarious, BTW. And glad to see you posting again!

I wasn't even thinking about the Ralph Fiennes version. Hmmm?! Yes, I see how that could be problematic. Low chest hair quotient. Certainly not manly, like those Spartans.

Oh, the absurdity of it all!

I'm glad to see the kids are way ahead of us in figuring these things out! Good to hear from you again!

Yes, they're one up on me.

My daughter mimes a wand movement with an "Accio chest hair!" Then she clutches her chest and yells "Ouch!" This sends both kids into uncontrolled giggles.

Good to hear from you too.

A fingernail, huh? A bit more practical than chest hair. LOL!

Welcome to my LJ, girlyswot. Good to hear from you.

Hmmmm?! I forgot about that. Since he's part reptilian, that might produce complications. Like with Hermione and the cat hair. Polyjuice can't be used for animals. Could have unpleasant side effects. Eeeeeewwww!

Oh, and I'm glad that you were able to recover your files. Would be a shame if they were lost. I'm looking forward to more of your George stories.

Yeah, well, *looks down at own chest*, if that were the only source of hair, I guess I'm not getting P-juiced anytime soon.

On the other hand, maybe the hairs on the foot...?

Now I'm thinking of Hobbits. LOL!

Good to hear from you, MFF. I'm glad to see that grad school has not diminished your sense of humor.
