It's a cool piece...as far as mandolin music goes. You really need a 6-course mandolin tuned g-b-e'-a'-d"-g" to make it work, but Anedda (1983, G. Zanibon, Padova) did publish a semi-satisfactory arrangement for the modern instrument. If you do the Fianle Notepad freebie (and share your e-mail address), I'd be happy to e-mail a setting of the original score to you. It would probably work just fine as a keyboard solo.

Just getting back to this, I wouldn't mind a little elaboration if you'd care to offer it. I've been vacationing there off and on for 33 years (i.e., since I was very young). I know the place pretty well and consider it a home away from home.
