I have had orchata...but at a little fast-food Mexican restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. I believe orchata is made of a number of different seeds or grains depending on where. One of my Puerto Rican friends here does it in sesame. I think the Mexican version is rice (the one I have tried, but unfortunately without lemon peel). I have no idea of how Costa Rica does it. How's it done in Honduras? I'll see if I can dig some up and follow your recommendation.
Your hometown looks quite nice in the promotional website. Perhaps the next ecoinformatics workshop can be hosted there! Here at La Selva, it is jungle and humidity. I like it...but I am a little weird. For our weekend break, we stayed at a hotel on the San Lorenzo Cloud Forest. I hope to post a little more detail if I find more time soon.
