Not feeling like writing much news, so here's a simple picture of the rosette of my guitar-to-be (Gary blacked out the soundhole in this image; his workbench was visible behind the unattached soundboard):

Okay, I take that back:

On my FriendsPage, there's no picture.
On your post's page, there's a thin tan/brown/tan horizontal line.
When I right-click on it with my Mac and select "Open Image in New Window," it's there in proper format.

Weird.

Weird. When I came back to my main journal page, there was no image there. However, when I clicked to read the comments, it appeared.

Weird...yet again. I took off some of the Livejournal formatting tags, and the image now appears on my journal page. Same for you?

Oh, very nice indeed! Just big enough to have presence, but not so big as to be overly dominant. Just the way I like a rosette to be. :)

It's pretty similar to a Panormo original. The outermost series of purfling rings is maybe a little narrower in my guitar to be than the original, but like you, I very much like it that way.
