well, i understand you don't want politics to be like a tv show, but if it were 90210, then those would all be compelling plot points. me, i'll go along for the ride. do you think palin's daughter's forced marriage will last? no WAY! i was like, srsly?

they knew this was what american politics was like when they entered the race. next you'll be telling us to respect brangelina's privacy. ;)

anywho, my main problem with it is more the length than the content. although i have enjoyed how it has totally made everyone forget bush exists for the last year. that's gotta sting.

i guess what i'm saying is that even if palin's daughter is britney spear's spiritual twin, she's not leaving this with a gazillion dollars when everything is over and done.
given that the nation has finally fully turned against bush, everyone ignoring him may be a blessing for him.

well that's certainly true. i was thinking about it some more, and i think that since their actions will effect people, people should be able to take an interest in their lives. and since most people find actual politics boring, i guess the soap opera stuff plays better. which i guess doesn't say much for anyone involved. so ya, i agree with you, but i guess i find it more a mildly amusing spectacle than annoying and reprehensible.

but i'll vote for obama anyway.

One of my library patrons told me that Obama's father is the same as Osama's father; it's just a different one of his wives.
