haha, yes, I'm sure it had nothing to do with the pointless and bizzare execution stages.

I never had a comodore 64, was it the floppy disk kind or the tape kind?

if my memory serves me correctly it had an external 5 1/4 floppy drive. i don't think i've ever used an old school tape drive.
