DJ is not doing very well. They say he is really sick but do not know for sure what is wrong. I had to decide last night whether to leave him in the "hospital" and have them start IV feeding because he is dehydrated and more testing or take him home and try to get him to eat. I took him home, and he did eat a little bit more than he has been,

That is sad news. 15 years is old for a kitty, is it not? When Cody (the dalmation) was in rough shape we had that same difficult decision. We considered the "quality" of life he would have even after special care and chose to let go. It was best for him.
