Kayaking

Yesterday I took my first river trip in a kayak. We didn't get going until late in the day, in fact it was 5:20 when we left the dock in Hesperia (behind Ed's). It was sunny and high 60's and only a little windy. I was merely frightened, not as bad as terrified, as they helped me get ready and into the water. I hung on to a post for a little

Wow... I don't think I would like any of that. I have never even been in a canoe. I can swim and all but I would not like the lack of control you sometimes can find yourself in. Good job on going along just the same. Sounds like quite an adventure. Today would have been a good day for a trip down the river - 90 degrees!
