Wow, is there anything worse than reading old diary entries?  I've decided to spare Livejournal from 99 posts about my eating and sleeping habits, memes, essays and amazingly cool bands I saw with my Mum.  Er, not that I don't still enjoy seeing amazingly cool bands with my Mum.

You're depriving lj of its lifeblood!

You should repurpose this account. I would try and offer some interesting and/or funny suggestions, but my brain is treacle-y because I woke up at 6.30 and have been sporadically throwing up ever since :( *sustains lj with boring tmi*

I have really vivid memories of writing old diary entries (like, really old, from when I was 11/12-ish) - of the exact emotastic mood I was in when I sat down to write them. They make me feel kind of head-sick when I think about them. I imagine reading them would be horrendous.

Oh, love! I hope it's not my cooking that's done you in. Let me know how you're feeling tomorrow and I'll plan the evening accordingly. I can leave you alone or come over to your house if you're feelin weak.

Mum and Dad left me alone in the house a lot when I was little and I somehow developed the belief that they'd set up CCTV in all the rooms so that they could monitor all my behaviour. I used to write diary entries in code as though somebody else might be reading them.

No no, don't worry, it's just really bad cramps, and I've mostly killed them by now with drugs and hot water bottles. The only problem now is that I'm so tired I can't work at any kind of pace - but I've had lunch and a nap now, so hopefully I can get on with things again.

I mean, yes moar sympathy plz :(

I still have loads of IM conversations we had back in 2004. I still adore you for introducing me to Jonathan Richman.

What?! Recordings of opinions that might have changed over the years? I must DESTROY THEM. eulogytobiko February 2 2009, 16:11:40 UTC
Y'know, meeting Jonathan and him being nasty in real life is my second greatest fear in life (after dying in a fire).

I've nicked loads of musical sfrom you and I won't embarrass myself by typing them all out.

Uh, something ate my words. I haven't knowingly stolen a musical from anyone.

I misread that as, "meeting Jonathan and him being nasty in real life..." and my heart skipped a beat. Phew.
