they are probably a too young for it yet, but in time, i'm pretty sure. i just left a boy cat i've been loving on for fifteen years, so soon i will know better.

Cats are selfish by nature, so you can be certain they'd miss you as soon as they needed something.

When I left for college, my parents said that my cat spent a week's worth of nights pacing around the house and uttering mournful howls. The first time I came back to visit, he hid under the couch, but after a day or two some lightbulb went off in his head and he was super affectionate again. I guess it just depends on the cat.
