Sorry I’ve been neglecting my journal lately.
Drove to New Orleans for vacation. On the way there found the Boobie Bungalow
and got stuck by a giant cock!
Spent 5 days in New Orleans, drinking, eating and shopping. What a party-town! Bourbon Street resembled any college campus during homecoming! Lots of beautiful neon glowing in the dark, loud music and drunks stumbling about.
I fell in love with LaFitte’s Blacksmith Shop.
This is where Capt. Jean Lafitte and his band of pirates would fence the items that they got pilaging and plundering on the high seas! It looks as though it’s about to fall down, the tables are falling apart, and at night it is lit only by candlelite! I was half expecting to see pirates walk in!
Stopped in St. Louis Catherdral. (first time I’d been in a church in forever)
Then it was off to the cemetary.

And a visit to VooDoo Priestess Marie Laveau’s Tomb!
And my friend Angie talking to two guys she met on the street.
They were the quiet type!
