Rain, rain go away

I don't like the storms. I think I'm just going to sit in my room until the thunder and lightining stop, then go get lunch.

I find thunderstorms to be relaxing in a way, but these ones we've had here are unusually vivid and potent. I've often found, however, that studying a thing I fear helps me to understand it, and thus, become less afraid of it. I could loan you some books about thunderstorms if you'd like? Do you know where you'll be having lunch today?

I'm not really afraid of them. But I spent so much time inside before coming here that any reason to be forced indoors for a long time annoys me a little.

I'll probably eat lunch at that place that sells noodle soup. Soup's good when it's gross and wet outside.

I'm sorry for making that assumption. I can see why you would not like them, now.

I agree with your soup assessment. I do not believe, however, that I've been to that place before.

It's okay. Most people not going out in this weather probably are afraid, or at least nervous.

The restaurant is near the history classrooms, so I pass it every day.
