I'll ask you the flip side of your question: is there any part of the Marvel Universe that you want to completely disown?
Reply
As for your question... Ahaha. Ha. You mean, lately? Pretty much every big summer event of the last couple years hasn't been worth the money--Enemy of the State, House of M, Civil War, even World War Hulk was a disappointment--but that's not quite enough for total disownment. The easiest answer is what they did to Spider-Man through Brand New Day--retconning over twenty years of character history in as bass-ackwards a way as possible, because the Editor-in-Chief doesn't like marriage in comics. Gg, Marvel.

MY DEAN TALKED ME OUT OF IT so I'll be doing internships here. But next year I'll have friends in France and a chick I knew in high school will be spending a year at your school, so I may brave our godawful exchange rate and spend a break in Europe. CAN I CRASH ON YOUR FLOOR?

\o/ \o/ \o/ \o/ \o/ MY FLOOR IS YOUR FLOOR. I have a guestroom actually. I'm trying so hard to pull my grades up so I can actually be eligible for a Fulbright scholarship, not that I know if they work with Georgetown.
Euphie's ideal life after episode where she goes incognito to Lelouch's school, go!
Reply
Oh, we do Fulbrights. At least, people win them here, so I imagine they work.
UM it involves going to a Japanese school with Lelouch and Suzaku and Nunnally and in the afternoon they all go out and do their homework in a garden and once a week Cornelia comes over for dinner and Lelouch is never Zero again. And BRITANNIAN MEDICINE fixes Nunnally's legs and the two of them dress each other and Euphie helps Lelouch take care of her. Her dream life after that episode is basically her childhood.

I have to wonder if they do know each other, or if they at least know of each other -- like, it makes sense to me that the royal family would interact with the Knights of Rounds, and Euphie via Cornelia's connection to Nonnette or whatever her name is especially. Okay, that's completely irrelevant.
Assuming Euphie doesn't know Gino at all, she'd be totally disturbed if he started saying "holy shit you killed lots of people!" but that's not... a personal thing at all, that would just be the same "w-what? DENIED D:" that she'd do to anyone who brought it up. The extreme physical comfort with Suzaku would weird her out but she'd do her best not to let that show or mention it, especially since Suzaku doesn't seem to mind. If he does it to everyone, it would bother her slightly less.
Generally speaking, how would your Suzaku play change if we updated to R2 5 right now?

Oh god this may not be clear or coherent. If we updated to R2 5 right now. . . hahaha, well, keeping in mind that I'd need to see if he keeps up the boku!persona in future episodes too. FROM EPISODE FIVE ALONE: to most people, he'd still behave very similarly to how he does now. Friendly, kind of a faildork, easy to get along with. But he'd be more-hmmm. I don't know exactly how to put it, but he's much sharper than he was before. He doesn't talk about nonviolent idealism anymore, although he'll still say that he'll change things. He's not murderous (except towards Lelouch), but he's not going to traumaface at every death that occurs in front of him anymore. And the minute that someone really rubs him the wrong way, he'll drop the act and assume his authoritative role to correct them. He's now in a position where he has to make orders rather than take them, so any obedience is solely for the lighter things (e.g. Milly asking him to "nyaaaaaah"). And the minute Lelouch ( ... )

With Geass, Milly was the one who really shone to me when I started watching the series, because she was vibrant and toppy and it's hard not to notice her. But obviously starting to play Euphie (well, it started when I was writting the app, I guess) got me attached to her, so I liked her because of that, and then I could go back and watch the series for all the bits where I liked her... yeah.
Do you want Suzaku to get a Geass over the course of the show?
