My mom sent me this learn-to-speak-French CD set. I have been listening to the first disc, and it is slightly bizarre. Some of the "useful phrases" I have learned:
  • Long live the French bread!
  • I would like to withdraw one hundred dollars.
  • The cognac is very good.
  • In Bordeaux it is hot.
  • It doesn't provide any written stuff so I don't know how to spell ( Read more... )

Would be happy to help if I can :)

But I really don't see the use of "long live the french bread"... lol ! And Marseille is hotter than Bordeaux most of the time :D

PS : French money is Euro, not Dollar... (just in case...)

I'm not actually going to France, I'm moving to Montreal, and my mom got me this set of CDs to learn French with mostly useless phrases.

Well, as I was not planning to give you some "real" lessons, it doesn't make any difference, does it ? :)

But it you have any question, don't hesitate to ask... Even if my English is not that good, I think my French is ! (I've just spoken it some 10's years longer... lol)
