Distance to ones surroundings is relative to what it is that is surrounding them in the first place. Coldness comes from the distance that must eventually become closeness over a matter of time that will bring with it among other things warmth.

I was refering to our situation, I hope that things will change for the better once we can be out on our own. We both know ow stressful it is living here with these people. As soon as we don't have to deal with all this crap I hope to hell we can both become happier.
