I think I can name about several things I am eternally thankful for, even while in this place. But I suppose it's a little too late to ramble about such mundane things, isn't it? One never has a moment to simply sit, reflect, and just appreciate the smaller things we take for granted...even in a chaotic city such as this ( Read more... )

I... I'm thankful for all all the happy memories my friends back home- those gone and those still fighting- have given me. I'm also thankful for all the new fiends I've made here.

Small things are where people get their hope from. Little things like managing to accomplish a goal, help people get through the large things like the next challenge ahead.

Without that hope, despair is also lost.
