It's a terrifying realisation that the vocabulary one uses onself to consider one's inner life is lifted, almost word-for-word, from a manual on how to train enthusiastic, but perhaps a bit too dippy, puppies. A useful realisation perhaps, but otherwise, quite and utterly worrying
