Well, I can't take all the credit. #perl and petdance helped. :-)

And, actually, now that I'm listening to some of this without just being horrified, I realize that this reminds me of my reaction to the rather good Devo tribute album "We Are Not Devo" - I checked out some of the bands and didn't like them as much as I liked their devo covers. So, yeah, devo had some really great songs.
