Great Scott. I really am in love. For a while there, I never thought it would happen, but now. . . . Meadow's absolutely wonderful. She really is.

And to think, we've only been on three dates so far! This time, I took the initiative in asking her out. I was feeling good after a good day at work, preventing paradoxes and helping buildings go up, and -- well, I just wanted to share my evening with someone special.

I decided to take her to Madblood Bowling -- a simple, fun date. Anyway, I'd been meaning to visit the place. All work and no play, as they say. . .

We chatted a bit before going inside -- turns out she shares a bit of my enthusiasm for tinkering. Her favorite activity is restoring old cars.

After that, we tried some bowling, though -- I don't think Meadow's mind was really on the game.

Even with that, she did better than I did. I haven't been bowling in ages.

I think I acquitted myself a bit better when we decided to dance to the jukebox, though. At least, I hope I did.

Actually, I must have -- she wouldn't have -- oh, hell, I'm the only one reading this. She wouldn't have made out with me otherwise. Now that was fun.

We talked about our lives a little. I told her all about my job as a time traveler, and she told me about how she's doing as a General.

Then a slow song came on the radio, and. . .well. Who could resist?

I have to admit, though, I'm still a little shocked she agreed to come home with me. After all, it was only our third date, and I was worried she'd think we were moving rather fast. (It's nothing compared to how fast I want to move, sometimes, but. . .)

Not much happened at home. I let her look around the place -- she thought it was cute I'd kept her old flower.

And I heated up some leftover chicken I had in the fridge so we could share a quick meal.

Still, it was a great date. And Meadow thought so too, if the bouquet of roses I found on my doorstep later is any indication.

Life is wonderful, really. Now if only work would proceed quicker on my latest project! I'm eager to see it up and running!

Oh, and I ought to call that interesting woman I met at the bowling alley just before Meadow and I left. She had some interesting things to say. . . .
