Timmy was put to sleep at 1 or 2 o'clock. I will never forget how long I had to wait for Mum to come home from the vets, it was ever so long. Timmy really did look peaceful. I found that he had a kidney disease (no wonder he had been vomiting!). Gave Mum and Robert big hugs and put the flowers on. Robert dug the grave. It will be very strange going ( Read more... )

I'm sorry you lost a friend. It sounds like Timmy was very dear to you. You write very honstly about him, and I'm touched. Maybe getting a dog is not a bad idea? If you have the time? It's a big commitment, but one that's also very rewarding.

The movie was lovely: the costumes, the story, the play, and it was possibly Gwyneths best performance ever (I hope she picks up her act again).
