Yay, another music LJ to keep track of. I was just randomly googling for hip-hop j-music stuffs so I might as well watch you guys too.

I snagged Namie's Free since I never heard of it. My first listen and it... really isn't that amazing for a Namie song. Actually, the first song to hook me into her was So Crazy. :) But I'm not that much of a fan to constantly keep track of her. Still, good stuffs here and there.

Also snagged Ayu's UNITE!. I'm also a Ayu fan. xD Well, she was my first jpop artist anyway. I can't understand why others would hate her. If it's the voice, then yeah, I guess I can understand it. The compositions for her songs are outstanding. And there's something about her voice that is so easily recognizable and makes her stand out. (Seriously, too many female singers sound alike. Annoying.)

Already have V6's song. Not taking Se7en's, he doesn't really interest me anymore after he went into the japanese music industry. Already have Hikki's song... which I didn't like as much as her other songs. Meh. o-o

I know it isn't amazing for a Namie song at all. xD; It definitely doesn't stand out! But somehow, it's one of my favorites. Ooo, So Crazy is love though ♥

Ayu was my first jpop artist as well... a long time ago when I was obsessed with Inuyasha, I liked all the ending themes, so I looked up Ayu and BoA since they sung 'Dearest' and 'Every Heart'. That's how I was introduced to Ayu. ^^ I agree also about how she stands out... I don't really like BoA because I think her voice is just so... bland? People like Ayu and Hikki have more unique voices, and that's why I love them.

Ahh, I guess there's nothing special about Flavor of Life either, but I can't help but adore it for some reason. xD Maybe it grew onto me after listening to it so much.
