As to your question, I'm really thinking Wisconsin over Berkeley. The offer is really good, especially the guarantee of teaching-less funding again when I reach the dissertation stage. The stipend would go a lot farther than anything Berkeley could offer me given costs-of-living, and the health care is not to be rivaled. You add to that the fact that they seem ridiculously keen on my going there, and it's really the best choice. Makes me sad to leave everyone in Berkeley, but hey, I'll be a day's drive from you!

i am OBSESSED with hollyoaks, and it has been the bane of my existence that no one else that i know has ever heard of hollyoaks. it was on bbc america for a while, but they took it off. but you can find all of the episodes for free on Joost! i HEART john paul!!!!
