Haven't been posting, haven't been sending emails, oh, so many things have I not been doing. Between work, houseguests, and getting ready to leave town it was hard to decide whether to type a blow-by-blow of events or to reflect on and process them. I'm too tired to do either right now but that's an easy out, isn't it

Perhaps you could fit in a visit to Napa? I would love that :) I wonder if I have been to the place you are staying?

Sorry we didn't manage Napa! Just one of the many places we managed not to go . . .

We stayed at the House of Seven Gables. It's pretty much right across the street from Lover's Point. Can't beat the location! All the decor is ruffled, gilded, or both, but they make up for that with their wine and cheese (and fruits and veggies and dessert) happy hour. Sound familiar?
