Trying to avoid falling items overhead

Already my shelves have fallen, causing books and other items to land on me.  Thankfully, I invested in some nicorette gum so I am no longer on the verge of a complete melt down.  I didn't make it to campus today because of the rain, and my ultra sore body (five hour walk plus dragging groceries home yesterday).  I will make it there tomorrow!  I  ( Read more... )

I hope you've got something on wheels for shopping purposes! My little $20 handcart from Rome's (probably available at some Loblaws-related store down there...maybe Zehr's?) is one of my favourite things ever. I don't know how I ever shopped without it, and I have a vehicle! It's big enough in terms of footprint for six 2L pop bottles, and at least two of the same tall (what can I say? It's a convenient unit of measurement!).

That is an amazing idea! I will totally look into that! It won't be so bad if I take the bus somewhere, but I prefer to walk so having a handcart might be nice.
