Hi Misty! As much as you would LIKE to put your hands around his neck I believe the best way is to kill them with kindness. Forget all the duct tape and cruel punishment. What they are looking for is to get a HOT reaction. Evidently they get no reaction from a parent ether way. You have to ask yourself, "What do they need?" "What are they trying to accomplish" If you don't give them a hot reaction they will not get anything out of it! I have found that smiling (when you would rather scream) has a more adverse affect on people. Just like moisture feeds mold, getting steamed blows the cork! The great Dr. Phill would say,"what does it do for him?" The child must get something out of it otherwise he/she wouldn't do it. There are alot of people who get pleasure out of other peoples misery.
