I have a leatherbound edition of the LOTR trilogy, and the tree is embossed on its spine. I think I'll be going with that one. It's a very pretty depiction of it, a very stylized tree with three little stars amongst its branches.
I also plan on eventually getting the script from the One Ring. I might have them do it arched over the top of the tree..but then again I might just wait and get that particular one elsewhere.
awesome. post a picture when you get it. i'd like to get speak friend and enter(in elvish) tattooed somewhere. i really like the idea of middle earth tattoos. maybe i'll get a map of middle earth tattoo also.
Me too. The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings had such an impact on me as a child that I've always wanted to get some sort of tattoo having to do with them.
the Speak friend and enter tattoo would be really nice as well.
I've also considered the little dragon with the words "there be dragons here" from the map in The Hobbit.
There are so many good tattoo options from those books that I could end up with lord knows how many middle earth tattoos. Me? A geek? Never!
