I haven't posted since I've been busy with color guard (it's amazing how many ways you can hurt yourself with a flag) and well, high school. I was also pleased to find that I was friended by two watchful_entity wannabes, though by my standards, I'm really not much of a pervert. I mean, I don't even have a smutfic posted at RS.org. That must be a requirement

I'm sorry that you're losing interest in fandom, but thanks for telling us this. It's always good to know how many people are inactive and why, and it makes perfect sense to give fandom a break now that school is starting again. Maybe you'll write a fabulous chapter this winter, benefiting from everything that you've done, and even if not, I'm glad that you had fun in the fandom this summer.

Having expended most of my brain cells just typing that, I find it nearly impossible to speak coherently now. :D Seriously though Eva, you're one of the best writers that I've read whose writing style makes me squee with envy, and I respect your writing far more than your fandom. Or at least regardless of your fandom. As long as you don't start writing popslash...o.o...like Britney/Madonna/Xtina femmeslash. *shudder*

So yeah, brain cells are kind of fizzling, and I have nothing else to say. Except, there is no spoon, dude. Give it up.

Also, best of luck on the high school thing. Speaking as a member of the current senior class (of '04, baby. whoo.), I can safely say that 12th grade is everything worth waiting for, and that as far as "kewlyness" was concerned, freshman year was second to that. The years in between just suck, man. ;) And whatever they say, don't believe it. The four years of high school do not pass that quickly; it's just an illusion fucking with your weary mind.

Having spoken those words of inspiration, I will now make my discreet exit. *gestures* Out that way, before someone knifes me for my sacrilege. I offer ill-advice to young BNFs, woe! :P
