I want to see you in a prom dress! Please tell me it wasn't a tutu-cupcake stye one, though...
My writing and design isn't going too well - I got into fashion this year so I ended up sewing a lot of buying many, many, many pairs of shoes. I did make a website for my teacher, though, which is not really done (the pages are all messy and unfinished) but the basic idea is at http://theradiohour.net. It looked a hell of a lot cooler before but he wanted it simpler.
And choose a piece of writing you've done that I haven't read yet and give me the link! :D
We actually had our pre-prom at a freshman's house (he's dating one of my close friends), and the other "groups" were scandalized. Suckers. But it was all fun. Everyone left at like 9:30 to go get drunk, so we had the dance floor to ourselves, and the DJ even played a couple CTY songs, like "Brown-Eyed Girl" and "Come On Eileen" and a terrible techno remix of "Like a Prayer". Yay!
*glumly* My dress was so long it trailed by an inch. Maybe he was admiring our nice hallway tiling.
Scandalized? By what? Silly people. If gay men can give unfashionable straights makeovers on basic cable, then seniors can pre-prom at a freshman's house!
On the early leave of others... that happened with us, too. By 10:30, about 20 or so people were left and we danced to Sir Mixalot (also played at CTY) and other cheesy classics when they FINALLY stopped playing that godawful rap and R&B.
I would have loved to dance with you to that terrible techno remix. *sends cyber hugs* I got hit with a big CTY nostalgia when I found my yearbook hidden whilst frantically searching for math notes I had thrown away. Ah. Good days. (and hot teachers!)
Hey Eva, this is Whitney, the SaucySusie.com girl. I found your LJ through your post in trashygirls and I think you're cooler than cool, so I added you. I hope you don't mind. :)
Hey...it's me, Sarah. I found you through Jackie's livejournal. (We all have one now, because we're so special.) I'm gonna add you to my friends list because you rawk :3
