Okay, I'm in need of your help - all you literary types.

I need a poem or song lyric you particularly like, preferably with some kind of narrative flow and interesting imagery. We're making a handmade book in gfx design and I'm at a loss for what text to use. :P

In an ideal situation, I'd use my own writing but I really don't trust my poetry

Well she's walking
Through the clouds,
With her circus mind,
It's running wild;
Butterflies, and zebra,
and moonbeams
and fairytales,
That's all she ever talks about
Fly on little Wing.

When I'm sad,
she comes to me,
With a thousand smiles,
she gives to me free;
"It's alright, it's alright," she says,
"Take anything you want from me,
Anything..."

Sadly, this is neither poem nor song lyric, but is the closest thing I have immediately at my disposal. Also, I really like it. :D

His talent was as natural as the pattern that was made by the dust on a butterfly's wings. At one time he understood it no more than the butterfly did and he did not know when it was brushed or marred. Later he became conscious of his damaged wings and of their construction and he learned to think and could not fly any more because the love of flight was gone and he could only remember when it had been effortless.

Though dreams can be deceiving
Like faces are to hearts
They serve for sweet relieving
When fantasy and reality lie too far apart
