Rrgh I wasn't watching this season because the last was so disappointing but then I thought maybe I would go back but now. D: Tell me what happened? Was it painful? Should I give up all hope?

Victor died because they had to kill someone but they don't know how to do it with any real emotional resonance and then Booth comforted Brennan in the most platonic scene ever and Angela assumed they had sex because she's Angela, and that's apparently the end of it because NOBODY TALKS ABOUT IT AGAIN FOR THE REST OF THE EPISODE, OR IN THE NEXT EPISODE AT ALL WHICH WAS THE FINALE WHICH WAS ALSO A GENERIC NORMAL MURDER MYSTERY, and in which Booth and Brennan act completely normal around each other and not at all like the assless freaks they would be if something had actually happened between them, and Angela's baby is born and nothing at all is mentioned about Booth and Brennan until the VERY LAST MINUTE in which Brennan tells Booth she's pregnant and he's the father
