I'm woman enough to admit that no matter how many post-it notes I leave myself, regardless of all the scrawled phrases and ideas on to-do lists, despite the best intentions in the world, I will never get around to writing about these things ( Read more... )

Also, I don't want to tongue-kiss Alton Brown, but I do want him to teach me everything I need to know about everything.

Metaphorical tongue-kiss! Nothing that would stop the flow of precious, precious information from his mouth!

Extensive testing has revealed that I am extremely susceptible to bribery and reverse psychology. I also received high marks in guilt. :)

I've thought about doing a things that bug me post, but I'm pretty sure LJ has a character limit on posts.

Funnily enough, "Things Officemate gets wrong" and "Things that bug me" would be pretty nearly the same list. The Venn diagram on that sucker? A perfect circle.

I don't end up writing a good many things although their are a good many that I get back to months or years later.
After telling myself work, a self flagellation of the mind.

I figure writing a list of posts I'll never write assuages at least a portion of the guilt over not writing those posts in the first place! ...I swear, that made sense in my head.
